Amigo's edge is bilingual service — Spanish-speaking customers consistently rate it highest — and its PUCT complaint score is genuinely good (4/5, 9th of 42). The new IGS Energy parent settles the post-bankruptcy uncertainty from the Just Energy days. The drag is billing: phantom charges, autopay failures, and renewal rate shock show up across every independent review platform, and rates sit at or just above mid-market with no offsetting price advantage. Fine if you value Spanish-language support and you watch your renewal date.
