Oncor Electric Delivery owns and maintains the wires, poles, transformers, and meters across north & central texas, including the dfw metroplex. They don't sell you electricity — they deliver whatever your retail provider buys from the wholesale market. Their delivery charge (set by the PUCT) is identical across every provider's plan you see.
Can I switch off Oncor?
